Born from my passion for good cooking and great knives, it was only by chance that Mr. Knife Guy (That's me!) was introduced to the incredible quality and sleek elegance of the Rhineland Cutlery knife line.  My many years spent working in various professional kitchen settings taught me exactly what went into making a great knife... It was love at first sight!

The story of Mr. Knife Guy began in 2016 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was there that I attended Canada's largest, industry only trade show event, the Restaurant Canada Show. The show was absolutely huge and had drawn tons of national and international vendors, all representing their latest and greatest in culinary trends and wares. Yet none were as impressive as a knife from Rhineland Cutlery. Rhineland had travelled all the way from their head office in Abbotsford, British Columbia to represent their professional line here in Ontario. And after a quick demonstration of the knife, I became instantly captivated with the look, the feel, and the price, so I decided to take a chance and get one for myself. There was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to add this 'work of art' to my knife collection. Once home, I was able to truly experience the knife and all of its wonderful attributes all for myself. It was everything that I had hoped for and more. I became giddy with each slice. A feeling that continues to this day. 

Then as if my passion for these knives couldn't grow any more, my happenstance discovery allowed me the realisation that I was given a great opportunity to be able to share these knives with the rest of the world. Luckily for me, Rhineland was also looking for an eager individual to help them carry the brand across Canada. It was from then on I became a full time licensed distributor of Rhineland Cutlery and I now represent the cutlery line and their products at public trade shows and events all over Ontario. And since my passion for good cooking and great knives isn't just reserved for Rhineland Cutlery, I have also recently added some new special products that every chef will love. 

​Making meals is a staple activity for many families. Yet so many are using insufficient tools to really inspire culinary magic when creating a dish. My wife and I discovered a deeper joy of cooking when we started using Rhineland knives and I wanted to share this joy with others. That's why we now represent the culinary line ourselves, offering the same great life-time quality and competitive prices. Professional chefs should not be the only ones privy to the benefit and years of enjoyment that these razor sharp, one of a kind knives, bring to the kitchen. The secret is out.
